About Vaporetto Bar & Eatery

Vaporetto is a Venetian Bar & Eatery located at the rear of the Lido Cinema complex on Glenferrie Road. It is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. We welcome you to our little slice of Venice in the heart of Hawthorn.

The menu features quintessential Venetian classics along with pure and simple Italian food that you find in the best restaurants in the Veneto region. Our Drinks List focuses on wonderful cocktails, over 90 Italian and Australian wines (including Italian TAP wines) and a whole range of Aperitivi, Beer, Cider, Spirits and Liqueurs to please all palates.

The design is best described as Melbourne meets Venice - think Cafe Florian inspired wood panelling, Carrera marble Bar, Murano glass chandeliers, leather banquettes, bar stools and cut crystal glassware.

Everything is designed to transport you to the backstreets of Venice in some undefined era, where old school hospitality takes centre stage. All aboard the Vaporetto, we are Venice bound.
